The BC Coroners Service (BCCS) has identified Jason Cousins, 46, of Abbotsford as the victim of a fatal crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Laidlaw exit.
BCCS said in a press release that Cousins was heading eastbound on Highway 1 at about 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 when his vehicle went off the road, hit a light standard and rolled. Cousins was deceased at the scene.
BCCS said that Cousins was the sole occupant of the vehicle and that the BCCS and the RCMP are continuing their investigation.
