The Olympic torch route through Abbotsford has been released.
It will arrive just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7. The Abbotsford leg will begin where Whatcom Road meets Hwy. 1 and wind its way along Lower Sumas Mountain Road, Old Yale Road and Marshall Road to McMillan Road, where it will head north for a stop, scheduled for 4:48, at the Abbotsford Rec Centre.
The torch will then rejoin Old Yale Road to downtown before going down Essendene and South Fraser Way to Abbotsford City Hall (6:06 p.m.).
Once the ceremonies are done there, it will head north up Clearbrook Road and east on Maclure Road for a big community celebration at Abbotsford Exhibition Park.
