Bondi to be Abbotsford's new assistant superintendent

Gino Bondi will replace outgoing Abbotsford School District assistant superintendent Steve Carlton, effective Aug. 1.

Carlton announced his retirement this past December, after spending more than 35 years working in this district.

Bondi comes here from Vancouver School Board where he has most recently served as district administrator for specialty programs. He also held responsibilities for adult education, career programs, continuing education, district band/strings, and athletics.

Prior to his current position, Bondi served in leadership roles at John Oliver, Vancouver Technical and JN Burnett Secondary Schools in Vancouver and Richmond school districts.
