(VIDEO) Canadians protest violence in Gaza, tensions between Israel and Palestina

In Toronto and Montreal, Canadians came out to protest the current conflict in the Middle East, where tensions have risen and stayed between Israel and Palestine, based in the Gaza region.

"We're here today to express our shock and outrage at what Israel's doing to the people in Gaza," said one demonstrator in Toronto, interviewed in the video above. "The Canadian government's response has been, on the one hand appalling, and on the other hand not surprising... it's basically given Israel a carte blanche to do whatever it wants to the Palestinian people."
