An overturned semi on Highway 1 in Abbotsford slowed westbound traffic from Whatcom Road to Sumas Way on Friday morning.

The accident took place at about 6:30 a.m. on the Sumas Way westbound on-ramp to the freeway.

Traffic was down to one lane in the area near the crash.
