The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is trying to locate a man missing from Edmonton.

Robert Eugene Rheubottom, 45, left his Edmonton home on Feb. 11 with Abbotsford as his intended destination.

APD Const. Ian MacDonald said Rheubottom had been in regular phone contact with his family until Saturday, Feb. 22.

On Sunday, Feb. 23, his spouse contacted the APD to report him missing.

Since then, investigators have been able to confirm purchases and sightings of Rheubottom in Abbotsford up to Feb. 22. However, he has not been located, and his family is understandably worried, MacDonald said.

Rheubottom is 5' 11"  and weighs 185 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair and sleeve tattoos on his arms.

He was driving a white 1995 GMC Rally van (pictured above) bearing Alberta licence plate AM1001 or temporary operating permit 6U4G9Q.

Anyone with information is asked to call the APD at 604-859-5225 or text 222973 (abbypd).
