A snowfall warning has been issued for the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford and Mission.

According to Environment Canada, 10 cm of snow is predicted. A cold air mass settled over the south coast Thursday morning in the wake of a weak Arctic front coming from B.C.'s interior. A low-pressure system approaching from the Pacific Ocean will distribute precipitation across the region tonight (Dec. 19) and into Friday.

Snow will fall through Friday morning's commute, but change to rain later in the day.
