UPDATE: Straiton Road on Sumas Mountain reopened following mudslide
A slide of mud and trees covered at least one lane of Straiton Road on Sumas Mountain early Wednesday morning.
City crews closed Straiton to traffic further up the mountain, at Willet Road.
At around 1 p.m., the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) announced the road had reopened.
The small slide occurred about 100 metres east of Old Clayburn Road.
