Internationally renowned journalist and author Gwynne Dyer visits Abbotsford on Wednesday, March 13 in a presentation at Rick Hansen Secondary (31150 Blueridge Drive).

Dyer will speak on the impending "climate wars" as well as regime change in the Middle East. His presentation runs from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m.

As a high-profile journalist, broadcaster and lecturer on global affairs, Dyer’s columns appear in more than 175 newspapers and 45 countries worldwide.

His recent works have all topped the Globe and Mail’s best-seller list, and he is a leading voice on geo-politically significant events.

The event will be live streamed throughout the school as part of Rick Hansen’s media production program and will provide students with the opportunity to engage in discussion with Dyer via digital messaging. The media production program seeks to prepare students to engage in 21st communication technology both in a learning environment and in their future workplaces.
