Sportsmen's show draws crowds to Tradex
The 22nd annual BC Boat and Sportmen's Show and the 10th annual BC Hunting Show have joined forces, drawing crowds to Tradex in Abbotsford from March 1 to 3.
A first for the show is a 50-foot giant fish tank on display, allowing visitors to see fly, spey and bait casting at its best.
Hands-on seminars are featured with pros Brian Chan, Peter Morrison and Phil Rowley.
Sturgeon Slayers bring the Fly Fishing Film Tour to the show, along with some added hunting content.
The popular "Heads and Horns" feature returns. Hunters and enthusiasts are invited to bring in the heads, horns and antlers for professional scoring.
The show also features more than 250 exhibitors, displaying hundreds of boats and ATVs, fishing gear, camping supplies, hunting equipment, camping gear, and more.
Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tradex is located at 1190 Cornell St. adjacent to the Abbotsford International Airport.
Admission is $12 general, $10 for seniors, $8 for students (ages six to 16) and free for kids five and under.
