No update yet on woman's body found at side of road

Abbotsford Police hope to release more details tomorrow (Wednesday) on the woman whose body was found at the side of Riverside Road on Monday morning.

Const. Ian MacDonald said major crime detectives are still trying to confirm the woman's identity and her cause of death, and that will likely take another day.

As well, the woman's next of kin will need to be notified.

The body was found by a passerby at about 10:15 a.m. on Riverside about halfway between King and Vye roads. Police have ruled out that the woman died of natural causes.
