The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is asking for the public's help in trying to locate a missing man.

Jonathan Mark Moyls, 54, was reported missing by a family member on Jan. 25. He had last been seen by family on Jan. 18, although he had made phone contact in the days that followed.

The APD was able to confirm that Moyls had been staying at an Abbotsford hotel on Sumas Way until Jan. 19. His whereabouts since then are not known.

Const. Ian MacDonald said Moyls has not been active on any social media websites, and checks of the borders and hospitals have turned up no signs of him.

He is likely travelling in a grey 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt with licence plate 388 WNH.

He is 5' 9", weighs 160 pounds, and has brown eyes, short brown greying hair and a goatee.

Anyone with information or who spots Moyls is asked to contact the APD at 604-859-5225.
