Terry Fox Elementary celebrates 30 years
Terry Fox Elementary School will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
The event will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the school, located at 3071 Babich St. in Abbotsford.
The school was officially opened on Jan. 28, 1983 by Rollie and Betty Fox, the parents of Terry Fox.
To celebrate the anniversary, the event will feature a slideshow, choir and speeches. Alumni are invited to attend.
