Boy airlifted after falling from bleachers
A five-year-old child was taken to hospital Saturday night in Abbotsford after he fell from some bleachers and hit his head.
The boy was at an indoor BMX track meet at Abbotsford Exhibition Park when he fell from the upper bleachers. He was unconscious for a few minutes, witnesses said.
The child was transported to the lower parking lot and then airlifted to a Vancouver hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
