Water main break floods Park Drive
Just before 4 a.m. fire crews were called to the corner of George Ferguson Way and Park Drive for a report of a water main break.
When crews arrived, they found water flowing out of the ground and down Park Drive, pooling at a low area. Unfortunately for one homeowner, the water found its way into his or her basement, and flooded it to a depth of more than two feet.
At the height of the flood water was approximately half a meter deep.
Crews had the water turned oft in about 15 minutes.
