Meeting slated on Sumas Mountain study
City hall is inviting the public to an open house discussion on the Sumas Mountain Environmental Management Study.
The purpose of the study is to identify where ecological and recreational resources exist on the Mountain, how they can be connected to one another, and what strategies exist to address environmentally sensitive lands.
The meeting will be Sept. 20, 5-8 p.m., at the Matsqui Recreation Centre, Seniors Centre located at 3106 Clearbrook Rd. More info www.abbotsford.ca/smems.
