AIRSHOW: CF-18 Hornet arrives for 50th anniversary event
Capt. Patrick Gobeil, a Canadian Forces Snowbird from 2004 to 2006, arrived at Abbotsford International Airport on Wednesday afternoon in the 2012 demo CF-18 Hornet.
Gobeil arrived in the "True North" fighter jet, flying in formation with the CF Snowbirds, and made several passes over the airfield before taxiing into position on the ramp in preparation for the 50th anniversary Abbotsford International Airshow.
The CF-18 demo performance takes place at the airshow at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 8 a.m. each day. Visit abbotsfordairshow.com for more information, including the complete schedule of events.
