BerryBeat Festival attracts thousands to downtown Abbotsford
Historic Downtown Abbotsford was buzzing with activity over the weekend at the 31st annual Abbotsford Berrybeat Festival.
The event ran Saturday and Sunday in the historic downtown area.
The weekend event began three decades ago as a one-block street party but has expanded into four city blocks of entertainment and activities.
An estimated 40,000 people were expected to attend over the weekend.
The streets were filled with activities for kids to enjoy, including a fun swing carousel, bouncy house, rock climbing, mini golf, the B.C. Chicken “Poultry in Motion” mini barn and Radical Raptors, a presentation that features birds of prey.
