Former NHL player Lanny McDonald visits Abbotsford
Lanny McDonald, former captain of the Calgary Flames and a Stanley Cup winner, will be in Abbotsford on Thursday.
The NHL Hall of Fame player will be at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium (32315 South Fraser Way) foyer at 9:15 a.m. for a meeting with Abbotsford Mayor Bruce Banman and the rest of council.
He is visiting Abbotsford as a part of his guest appearance at the Abbotsford Heat vs. Chicago Wolves AHL hockey game on Thursday evening.
The Wolves are the farm team of the Vancouver Canucks.
