Abbotsford Police help search for border jumpers

Abbotsford Police were called by U.S. border patrol to help search for three border jumpers on Saturday at about 7 p.m.

The men from Mexico illegally entered Canada at 0 Avenue through some berry fields in Abbotsford. Police were unable to find them. A fourth man was arrested on the U.S. side.

Sgt. Casey Vinet said border jumping typically increases during the summer months. Anyone with information on the three men is asked to call Abbotsford Police at 604-859-5225.
