Woman airlifted to hospital after car lands in ditch on Lefeuvre Road

A woman was airlifted to hospital after she flipped her car into a ditch in the 3700 block of Lefeuvre Road in Abbotsford just before noon today (Tuesday).

Abbotsford Police Const. Ian MacDonald said details are still sketchy, but the woman was the lone occupant in a Toyota Corolla that either collided with a tractor or tried to pass it.

The car flipped on to its roof and landed in a ditch. The woman was conscious when emergency crews arrived.

"She was speaking, but the extent of her injuries is unknown," MacDonald said.
