Trustee pay-review committee appointed
A five-member committee has been appointed by the Abbotsford board of education to review trustee remuneration and to recommend any changes.
A report in September 2008 recommended that a trustee indemnity committee be established at the start of the year of a general civic election, which takes place in Abbotsford this November.
Appointed to the committee were: lawyer Doug MacAdams, city councillor Lynne Harris, Jackie Hogan from UFV, Bud Loewen of the District Parents Advisory Council, and Michael McWhinney of the Abbotsford police board.
