Mechanical issues are leading to delays in curbside garbage and recycling collection Thursday.
The City of Abbotsford issued the following statement on its website:
“As a result of collection vehicle mechanical issues, some residents may experience interruption to their curbside collection today. We apologize for the inconvenience and note that the City’s collection contractor is mobilizing additional resources to restore service. Residents are asked to leave their material at the curb so it can be collected as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.”
