From performances by the Fraser Valley Symphony, to the annual variety show Songs, Strings and Steps, Abbotsford has a show for every taste. But we also feature local artists on a regular basis with our outdoor and indoor musical series’.
House of James
The stage at the House of James coffeehouse showcases all types of live music, including blues, jazz, country, rock, folk and southern gospel. In-store book signings and group discussion nights also take place. houseofjames.com
Envision Coffee House Series
The indoor concert series runs every Saturday evening from May to the end of October, featuring live music in various genres. This summer, the performances will take place in Mill Lake park for the first time, from June to September. abbotsfordartscouncil.org
Legal Grounds Coffeehouse
Local artists not only display their artwork in this coffeehouse, but there is also live performances on the weekends. Foreign films, open poetry forums and dramatic readings are also scheduled. legalgroundscoffee.com
Jam in Jubilee
The outdoor concert series is held in Jubilee Park every summer. This year it runs from July 7 to August 11 from 7-9 p.m. It also offers the opportunity to browse booths showcasing unique handmade wares from local artisans. jaminjubilee.com
