Abbotsford is only going to get wetter today, as a rainfall warning remains in effect.
“A long episode of rain, at times heavy, continues,” the Environment Canada warning states.
“Further rainfall amounts of 15 to 25 mm are expected this morning as a moist frontal system moves across the south coast. The rain will change to showers near midday as the system moves inland.”
The temperature is expected to peak at 12 C and dip to 6 C this evening, when the wind may also pick up.
“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.”
