A free concert in Jubilee Park in downtown Abbotsford will be held for four consecutive weeks.

The Jam in Jubilee Summer Concert series will return in July, featuring a wide variety of local and regional talent.

Beginning July 9, visitors can see a free concert every Thursday evening for four weeks. The evenings start at 6 p.m. with an art market, followed by music and entertainment at 7 p.m.

The series takes place in Jubilee Park, in downtown Abbotsford in the area of South Fraser Way and McCallum Road.

This year, the entire park will be site-licensed, according to organizers. The official brew partner of Jam in Jubilee is new Abbotsford brewery Ravens Brewing, so those in attendance can walk freely around the park and enjoy a local craft beer.

Building on last year’s addition of the “After Dark Series,” a concert at Townhall Public House (33720 South Fraser Way) will follow each evening in the park.

The festival is organized by community volunteers and organizers are looking for more people to help out. To find out more or volunteer, visit jaminjubilee.com.

July 16: Mistress; Alea Rae; Little Wild; Owl Skowl (After Dark)
