The Reach Gallery Museum kicked off the new art year at an opening reception on Jan. 22, featuring two highly touted exhibitions – Ancestry and Artistry: Maya Textiles from Guatemala, and Decolonize Me. The textiles exhibition is organized by the Textile Museum of Canada and Decolonize Me features six contemporary aboriginal artists. The exhibits are now on display at The Reach.
