MEI Middle School presents its production of Mary Poppins starting next week.
The musical takes place at 7 p.m. on April 16, 17, 21 and 24, with a matinee at 4 p.m. on April 25 at the school, 31655 Downes Rd. Doors open one hour before each performance.
Tickets are $10 each and are available through the school office weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The musical is based on the series of children’s books by P.L. Travers and the 1964 Disney film.
It tells the story of the Banks family, whose children are out of control and in need of a new nanny.
A mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep and takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures.
