Paul Walker's final film – 'Furious 7' – premieres this weekend

Paul Walker's final film – Furious 7 – premieres this weekend, the seventh in the long-running nitrous-fuelled racing/crime series, which Walker co-starred in alongside Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.

(Walker died in November, 2013 while filming Furious 7, in a car crash. Filming was completed with the help of body doubles and his brothers, reports the Washington Post.)

Furious premieres tomorrow – Friday, April 3 – and also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Chris Bridges (Ludacris).

Also premiering this weekend:

  • Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts adapt to their age in While We're Young. The two star as a Brooklyn-based couple in a midlife crisis of sorts, brought on by their new friendship with younger duo Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried. The trailer contains references to Paris and jokes about hip-hop, so it's about as typical as its two leads' issues.
  • Canadian actors Tatiana Maslany and Ryan Reynolds head to the imperially beautiful city of Vienna for the historical-art drama Woman in Gold. Oscar winner Helen Mirren plays a woman who's trying to recover the famous Gustav Klmit painting, which was stolen from her family by the Nazis, and Maslany plays her younger self in the 1940s.
