Fundraiser in Abbotsford features tributes to Elvis, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and more

A concert on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Abbotsford is a fundraiser to send a child to the Canadian Cancer Society’s Camp Good Times.

The Sock Hop Party features mini tributes to stars from the past, including Randy Friskie as Elvis, Joy Chapman as Patsy Cline and Rick Fowler as Johnny Cash.

There will also be tributes to Bobby Darin, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond and others.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, 33868 Essendene Ave.

Camp Good Times is a summer recreation program for children and teens affected by cancer. The program takes place at Loon Lake in Maple Ridge at no cost to participants.
