Artists invited to apply to exhibit and sell their work

Abbotsford Arts Council takes submissions for Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique

The Abbotsford Arts Council is accepting applications until Oct. 30 for artists interested in participating in the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique in 2016.

The gallery is located at 2387 Ware St. in Mill Lake Park and provides a resource for more than 100 artists to exhibit and sell their work.

There are 10 to 12 gallery exhibitions every year, with the boutique gift shop open year-round, showcasing everything from jewelry and watercolour paintings to stone sculptures and Venetian masks.

The arts council is looking for a wide variety of artwork in any medium, from all ages and skill levels.

Submissions will be juried in the fall. Application forms are available for download at abbotsfordartscouncil.com or may be picked up in person at the Kariton Art Gallery.
