Ceremony of Carols
Under the direction of Gail Suderman, the Valley Festival Singers will be presenting Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, featuring harpist Heidi Krutzen.
Krutzen is a leading musician in Canada and acts as the principal harpist for the Vancouver Opera Orchestra.
Performances will take place at Trinity Christian Reformed Church (3215 Trethewey St.) on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the House of James, at brownpapertickets.com, or at the door.
As a prelude to the main event, The Reach Gallery will be hosting a benefit concert for the Abbotsford Food Bank on Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.
Valley Festival Singers will join together with Kwantlen Chamber Singers to ring in the season with festive carols. For information visit valleyfestivalsingers.com.
