Cinema Under the Stars returns to Abbotsford

Cinema Under the Stars is back with its  second Abbotsford movie night of the summer taking place on Aug. 17 at Rotary Stadium.

Prospera Credit Union is inviting families to attend a free presentation of The Lion King.

The movie will be shown on a three-storey-high big screen and begins at dusk.

While the event is free, donations will be accepted on behalf of the charity Success by 6.

“We’ve had a great response to our Cinema Under the Stars program from the communities we serve,” said Bruce Howell, president and CEO of Prospera Credit Union.

July’s movie raised $971.08.
