The Sweeney Singers perform again this Christmas
Over the past 22 years, the Sweeney Singers have performed in front of Abbotsford audiences.
With a dozen family members on the roster, the group’s songs are divided up into several harmonies.
This year, the choir will host a Christmas concert on Thursday, Dec. 22, at Bakerview Church, located at 2285 Clearbrook Rd.
In addition to classic Christmas carols, the singers will also perform festive jazz arrangements and choruses from Handel’s Messiah.
Ron Sweeney will will deliver a comical monologue as well.
Admission is by donation, with all proceeds supporting Abbotsford’s Cyrus Centre. The show is at 7:30 p.m.
