Find your voice, support the food bank
Locals can use their vocal chords to help support the Abbotsford Food Bank.
This Saturday, the Sound of Music is offering a two-hour workshop entitled “Finding Your Real Voice,” from 2-4 p.m.
The seminar will feature Ken Jasper, a music director for more than 30 years.
Themes will include the essential building blocks for vocal training, proper warm-up and microphone techniques.
A minimum donation of $10 is required, with proceeds going towards the food bank.
“We chose the food bank because at this time of year, we all know how much they need it,” said Kathy Irving, daughter of store owners Eloise and Dean.
