The Reach Gallery Museum honours veterans
On Friday, Nov. 11 Abbotsford locals can visit The Reach Gallery Museum to pay homage to veterans.
The program “Remembrances” will be a collaboration of music and poetry, meant to inspire reflection.
Created by the Fraser Valley Stage, the music will be uplifting and positive, with songs focussing on longing for home and peace.
The poetry read will be in an effort to depict the real-life experience of veterans. The poems will include vivid details taking listeners back to sitting in trenches, or feeling immense emotions.
Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students.
