A new season of Live at The Reach kicks off with a Valentine’s special featuring Rio Samaya.

The Vancouver duo, also known as Pancho and Sal, perform Latin folk, African and Rumba on a wide range of instruments including the accordion, quena flute, charango and guitar.

Joining them on stage will be Kuria Blessings on mbira, an ancient thumb piano from Zimbabwe, and percussionist Navarro Franco.

The performance is Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way. Admission includes champagne, appetizers, a red rose and Valentine’s chocolate.
