On Saturday, June 7,  students at Yale Secondary School hosted the Rescue Run to support "Destiny Rescue," an international organization that actively rescues children from human trafficking and  sexual exploitation.

The run/walk was five kilometres around Mill Lake and with just over 50 participants, several volunteers and help from the Running Room, just over $900 was raised.

As one of many leadership events, this one was especially important to Rachel Lee in Grade 12 who has been actively fundraising for the cause all year.
