UFV launches shuttle bus service between campuses

Will travel between Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses 15 times a day, each way

Students and employees who travel between the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses of the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) will have an easier time this fall, due to a new Campus Connector shuttle bus service.

Buses will run 15 times a day both ways from Monday to Thursday, and eight times a day on Fridays. The shuttle service will consist of two 20-passenger, wheelchair-accessible buses.

It will connect the Chilliwack campus at Canada Education Park and the Abbotsford campus on King Road. The shuttles will begin runs as early as 6:30 a.m. with the final shuttle arrival time as late as 11:25 p.m.

UFV students voted to support the shuttle bus in a referendum this spring, with part of the cost to run the service incorporated into their student fees, and the remainder supported by UFV.
