It’s National Day of the Dog, a day set aside specifically to celebrate rescue dogs.
The Abby News put the call out to readers to send us their cutest, their dashing, and very good boys and girls. And did they deliver. In just three hours, we received more than 200 submissions.
It was hard to choose the picks of the litter, but we chewed it down to a baker’s dozen of great shots of dogs living their best lives. Whether that means begging for treats with a smile, or napping in a favourite spot, or even enjoying a boat ride, these pups are pretty sweet.
