An evening that focuses on the Old Colony Mennonites of Latin America takes place Saturday, June 1 at Level Ground Mennonite Church (31216 King Rd.), starting at 7 p.m. Presentations include “Travelling with the Horse and Buggy Mennonites in Bolivia: Creating Cultures of Peace” and “What is a Mennonite?: A Photo Essay of the Mennonites of Shipyard, Belize.” Refreshments will be served.


A  vintage tag sale  takes place Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at #102-31234 Wheel Ave.  Includes vintage items such as linens, silver with a patina, housewares, quilts, and furniture. Items for the garden and plants will also be offered. Free admission.


The Central Fraser Valley branch of the Federal Retirees meets Monday, June 3 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Cascade Community Church, 35190 DeLair Rd.  Violinist Calvin Dyck will perform. Cost is $5. Info and tickets: Mario at 604-859-1315 or Gary at 604-820-9179
