STORY TIME

MANGA VILLAGE

SELF-DEFENCE

A women’s self-protection course takes place Saturday, Jan. 22 at Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 2499 McMillan Rd., from 1 to 5 p.m. Instructor is Harry Sidhu, who has studied karate and other martial arts for more than 35 years. He is teaming up with SFU professor of criminology Dave Hunt to cover the mentality and psychology of self-defence. The cost is $50.
