Organization offers low-cost cat spaying and neutering

Low-cost cat spaying and neutering is being offered by the Canadian Animal Rescue and Extended Shelter Society.

A service to spay and neuter cats at a low cost is being offered to those who qualify in the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford.

Canadian Animal Rescue and Extended Shelter Society (CARES) in Langley has received a grant of more than $20,000 from PetSmart Charities of Canada to provide approximately 240 low-cost spay and neuter surgeries at a low cost to cat owners.

The program is being offered to those in Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford and Mission.

Those interested must be able to transport their cat to and from Willowbrook Animal Hospital in Langley.
