The Colour of Song by local artist John Fultz opened at Kariton Gallery on Feb. 9 and runs until March 4.
The exhibition is an exploration of the relationships between music and art, colour and sound, featuring a variety of works in acrylic mixed media and painting.
John Fultz is a local artist and educator who has been actively involved in art and music in the Abbotsford area for many years.
A familiar face in the local music scene as a member of the band Topaz, most of John's personal career has been as a visual arts educator, teaching drama and art in public school in Chilliwack as well as arts courses for educators through Simon Fraser University.
Since retiring as principal at the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts, John has been working with the Ministry of Education on revising the provincial arts curriculum for public schools.
The Kariton Gallery is located at 2387 Ware Street, in Mill Lake Park.
