Gala raises funds for Zajac Ranch in Mission

The event takes place June 6 at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver

A fundraising gala in Vancouver will support the Zajac Ranch for Children in Mission.

The third annual Zajac Nights celebrations on June 6 at the Terminal City Club will also honour Dr. Mel Bruchet, who has always offered his medical expertise at the Zajac Ranch.

Bruchet is a medical doctor on the north shore of Vancouver who has dedicated his life to his patients and community. He also sits on the board of directors of the Zajac Foundation, founders of the Zajac Ranch for Children, and is this year’s recipient of the foundation’s Raising the Bar award.

Zajac Ranch is located on the shores of Stave Lake on the west side of Mission. It opened in 2004 and is dedicated to giving children and young adults with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating conditions the chance to enjoy a summer camp experience.
