The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) is now closer to their fundraising goals due to a large commitment from a local partner.
Fraserway RV has committed $190,000 to support all four hospital projects currently underway by the FVHCF.
FVHCF executive director Liz Harris said the agency has had a long-term partnership with Fraserway RV.
“We are so happy with their continued commitment to health care in the Fraser Valley,” she said.
Ruth Goodall, executive assistant to the president of Fraserway RV, said the company is pleased to expand their partnership with the health care foundation.
“We have staff and customers far and wide in the Fraser Valley. This is where we work and play,” she said.
The FVHCF is currently supporting the ER expansion at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, the primary care expansion at Chilliwack General Hospital, laboratory renovations at Mission Memorial Hospital, and new emergency stretchers for Fraser Canyon Hospital.
