The Rotary Club of Abbotsford-Matsqui presented its third annual Abbotsford Environmental Leadership Awards on Thursday night.
A banquet honouring the nominees and winners was held at the Ramada Plaza and Conference Centre.
The recipients were:
• Lepp Farm Markets – Agri-Links (Local Food) Award;
• Abbotsford Community Services' recycling program – Community Grassroots;
• Eco Dairy – Energy Saver;
• Dr. Lenore Newman – Green Leader Award;
• Ashleigh Yakemchuk – Green Leader of Tomorrow;
• Sevenoaks Shopping Centre – Green Product or Service;
• Sonbuilt Homes – Green Project; and
• Tradex – Water Saver Award.
