Cyrus Centre in Abbotsford receives $25,000 donation

Local company Mayne Inc. recently donated $25,000 to Cyrus Centre in Abbotsford.

Mayne Inc. is the manufacturer of Longboard facades and always strives to support the community they are based in.

Cyrus Centre was the top-voted charity among staff, and they have participated in fundraisers for the youth centre, including the Coldest Night of the Year Walk.

As well, three staff members raised more than $2,500 this summer to participate in Cyrus Centre’s Leap of Faith skydiving event.

The $25,000 recently presented was a corporate donation from Mayne Inc.

Cyrus Centre offers various programs for at-risk youth and youth living on the streets, including emergency shelter, meals, clothing, advocacy counselling, life-skills training and more.

Drop-in centres are located in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
