Melanie Mark, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, joined Abbotsford-Mission MLA Pam Alexis on Tuesday (July 27) in a tour of The Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford.

Alexis says that support for the arts remains a key area of focus for her, with arts funding in the riding going to the Heritage Abbotsford Society ($8,000), the Abbotsford Arts Council ($25,000) and The Reach ($35,000).

The Reach’s investment will help the gallery launch a COVID-responsive, community-engaged methodology for the development of a major exhibition about the history, culture, and contemporary character of the area’s South Asian community.
