Clearbrook Ironworks recently presented a cheque of more than $35,000 to the Crystal Gala Foundation.
The money was raised at the company’s annual golf tournament. Owners Karyn and Alvin Unger seeded the pot with $5,000, and the remainder of the funds came from employees, suppliers and vendors.
Clearbrook Ironworks has been supporting the Crystal Gala Foundation for the last four years, bringing in a total of almost $129,000.
The foundation has raised more than $1 million to support breast health, including the Crystal Gala Breath Health Unit for screening mammography at the BC Cancer Agency and the newly opened Breast Health Centre in Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
